The stone village of Humac, which irresistibly resembles the Italian Arbelobello, is located at 350 m above sea level. The Grapčeva cave, for which the place is famous, is proof that life has existed here since the Neolithic Age. These many round stone houses (trims) have foundations dating back to the Neolithic Age.
There is also a stone house here, which shows signs of time, with an area of 59 m2 and an auxiliary building of 9 m2, the so-called "black kitchen". These buildings are united by a yard of about 65 m2, and behind the house there is a plot of land of 418 m2, which is also included in the price.

Up until the 17th century, Humac was permanently inhabited, but most of the locals moved to the nearby town of Jelsa, which is only 10 minutes away, and locals came only during major field work.
Today, Humac has no permanent residents, but the adaptation of some buildings for tourist purposes has begun to become visible. On June 26th of each year, on the feast of St. John and Paul, numerous Hvar residents gather who are still returning to their roots and this unique stone village.
