BELVEDER, we were offered a floor of a south-facing house, in a quiet street just a few minutes from the center of Rijeka, with an area of 46 m2. It consists of two bedrooms, living room, kitchen with dining room and bathroom. The house has a garden area of approx. 40 m2 with a view of the sea and includes two additional rooms, one of which is used as a woodshed, while the other is intended as a storage room and an outdoor fireplace. Heating and cooling is carried out by means of air conditioning, and there is also the possibility of heating with wood. BELVEDER, Beautiful view – is a literal translation of the Italian word belvedere, after which this part of Rijeka got its name. Residents of Belvedere have everything at their fingertips due to its small area and location almost in the center of Rijeka. Rijeka is the largest Croatian port, the third largest city in the Republic of Croatia and the administrative center of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County. In the 18th and 19th centuries, the Hungarian government developed Rijeka into one of the largest European ports and a powerful industrial center due to its ideal geographical location and the depth of the sea in the Kvarner Gulf. The Rijeka storm is also known on the Adriatic, a cold and dry northeasterly wind that has a favorable effect on the purity of Rijeka's air.
