Višnjan is located in the western part of Istria in the area of Poreština. It is the area between the river Mirna in the north and the Lim channel in the south, named after the largest settlement Poreč.
Višnjan has a good traffic position. It is connected to Poreč by a 12 km long regional road, and only 1.5 km separates it from the branch of the Istrian Epsilon, resulting in a better connection with Pula (the center of air traffic) and Pazin (the center of railway traffic). In the past, the famous Parenzana railway, the so-called the "wine railway" that connected Trieste and Poreč, and was very important for the economy of this region because it transported domestic products (wine, prosciutto) to larger cities for sale.

In its surroundings, at a distance of only 4 km or a 6-minute drive, a building plot of almost 1000 m2 is for sale for the construction of a family house or a holiday home.
The terrain has a regular shape, a flat configuration with an access road on two sides. Electricity and water are literally a few meters away.
