The Ston walls, 5.5 kilometers long, with more than 40 towers and 5 fortresses, were built by the Republic of Dubrovnik to protect the salt pans from the Venetian Republic. Today they are the longest preserved medieval stone defensive system in Europe, recognized worldwide for their monumentality and historical value.

On the land there is a building constructed before 1968 and a well, both suitable for reconstruction.

Due to its location and spatial context, the plot has exceptional development potential – it is ideal for implementing projects such as a cable car (planned in the Municipality of Ston), zip line, or a thematic park "Walk through the history of the Republic of Dubrovnik and Ston". Such a project could also qualify for co-financing from EU funds.
