PEĆINE, we have an interesting three-room apartment located just a few minutes walk from the sea. An ideal apartment for family or student life, given that it is located near all necessary amenities (public transport, shops, schools, kindergarten, city center, ...). Pećine offers much more than swimming and sunbathing, because it is another Rijeka neighborhood with an interesting history, available at every turn. Namely, from the architecture of this part of the city, even laymen can conclude that wealthier citizens lived here. In the first half of the 19th century, they began building their summer houses surrounded by lush flower gardens and exotic plants, which eventually became their permanent residence. These villas are located right next to the coast, or rather along the southern road. All villas in Pećine can boast lush gardens, but these are by no means the only green spaces in this part of the city. As many as three parks are located in this relatively small Rijeka neighborhood – Augusta Cesarca Park, Nike Katunara Park and Vidov Park.
