These villages are a historically significant part of the Pelješac peninsula with small churches, cemeteries and Illyrian mounds and a specific way of building houses. The locals of Donje Banda are engaged in agriculture and cultivation of the famous grape variety Plavac mali, from which they produce the highest quality premium wines Dingač, Postup and Plavac with protected geographical origin.
