Sukošan is a village located in the spacious Zlatna luka bay, along the Adriatic highway, 7 km southeast of Zadar. Today it is the seat of the Sukošan municipality, which also includes the towns of Debeljak, Glavica and Gorica. The town itself has about 3,000 inhabitants.
