Sveti Lovreč (Italian: San Lorenzo del Pasenatico) is a town and municipality in western Croatia, located in Istria County. The town has distinctive fortifications – preserved walls, towers, and city gates from the Venetian period, a three-nave parish church from the Romanesque era, and a separate bell tower. The old paved square with the pillory and city loggia has been preserved. The loggia, supported by columns, adjoins the southern wall of the parish church and contains a collection of Roman inscriptions – stone monuments.
