Sveti Lovreč (Italian: San Lorenzo del Pasenatico) is a small town and municipality in western Croatia, located in the Istria County. The town has the characteristics of a medieval fortification, with preserved walls, towers and city gates from the Venetian period, a three-nave parish church from the Romanesque era and a separate bell tower. The old paved square with the pillory and the loggia are also preserved. The loggia, supported by stone columns and leaning against the southern wall of the parish church, houses a collection of Roman inscriptions and stone monuments. The municipality of Sveti Lovreč occupies the southeastern part of the former Municipality of Poreč and is surrounded by the City of Poreč and the municipalities of Tinjan and Vrsar, while its southern border is formed by the coast of the Lim Bay.
