Drivenik is a village in Vinodol. On the top of the hill is the older part of the village, which consists of the remains of a former fortified settlement with a church and a Renaissance castle, built in the 15th century on the site of an older fortress (town) of unknown appearance today. The castle itself is a small fortress with a rectangular layout with round and cylindrical towers at the corners. Since 1225 it has been owned by the Frankopans, in 1449 it belonged to Ivan Frankopan, and from 1576 to 1670 it belonged to the Zrinskis.
