In a quieter part of Kornić, just a five-minute drive from the town of Krk, there is a new building from 2025 with one of the more open views of the sea and the island archipelago, which is difficult to find on the market today. The view remains permanent because there is no possibility of future construction in front of the plot, which in practice means that the living room and terraces will not look into the new building in a few years.
The house has approximately 200 m² spread over two floors, and the entire concept is designed so that the main life during most of the year takes place outdoors. The living room, kitchen and dining room are connected into one unit with direct access to the covered terrace, while large glass openings practically pull the view of the sea through the entire interior during the day. Upstairs are three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and access to a covered terrace. The view is completely open from the upper rooms, especially towards Puntarska Draga and the surrounding islands, which is a detail that people usually notice first in person. There is also a separate laundry room, useful for longer stays or organizing rentals during the season.
The beach is about one kilometer away. Most owners will still go there by car, especially during July and August when temperatures are high and the return uphill may be less practical.
The villa is fully furnished and equipped and ready to move in without additional work. Underfloor heating via a heat pump, Daikin air conditioning, video surveillance and an alarm system are installed, while 7 kW solar panels produce their own electricity. This makes the operating costs significantly lower than in classic houses with a swimming pool and year-round heating. There is also an electric car charger in the parking lot, and two parking spaces are provided.
A fully completed and equipped new building with an open view that cannot be closed is for sale. This generally means less uncertainty for the buyer today than with most new villas on the island of Krk.
